What we don't do

  • — Guarantee refund amounts. CBP decides.
  • — Handle protest-workflow filings. Out of scope.

Pricing FAQ

Is there a subscription?
No. You pay once per filing tier. The tier is set by the size of the refund, not by recurring usage. No monthly fees, no per-entry charges.
What if my refund is larger than the tier I paid for?
When CAPE runs reconciliation and the actual refund is in a higher tier, you have the option to upgrade and re-download; we do not retroactively bill.
Do you take a percentage of my refund?
No. Flat fee only. Customs brokers typically charge 10–25% of refund; un-tariff charges a fixed amount regardless of refund size within your tier.
Is the free calculator really free?
Yes. No signup, no card, no email required. Use it to get a refund band before deciding whether the paid tool is worth it.
Can I get a refund if I don't end up filing?
Refund terms live in the Terms of Service. The short version: if un-tariff fails to produce a CBP-valid CAPE CSV for reasons within our control, we refund. Standard purchaser-remorse is not covered.
